OS: OS X 10.4
CPU/Ram: 2.16 GHZ Intel Duo
Model/Manufacturer: MacBook Pro
Comment:
I am a Newbie to MAC...I can't believe how much torture I have endured as a Windows user.

Question: How can I transfer JPEG & MP3 files from my PC to my MacBook? Do I need to use migration software? Or will i be able to transfer MP3's and JPEG's without migration sftwre since JPEG and MP3 are not specifically PC file formats?

Nothing special needed, just transfer them. As you stated jpg
and mp3 are not Windows only file formats.

Don't know about MP3, but you can
usually just drag and drop JPEG files
directly from PC disks. Or you could
transfer them via the internet, or even a
direct com connection.

There is nothing to covert as the same
files work on both machines.

I just swap disks between machines and
drag and drop JPEG files.
