HELP
I need help!!!! I have an Apple laptop powerbook G3. It has Word98 Office98 ClarisWorksalias I know nothing about Apple.I need to transfer text files that I will input into the Apple to be transfered later to my Compaq pc which has Windows ME Works2000
I have a program, Mac Drive 2000 for Windows, that is supposed to allow me to open Mac files on a pc and viceversa.
Where do I store the Mac files on the Powerbook to be able to open them on the PC?Also, where would I go on my PC to open those transferred files
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

If you install the File Exchange (formerly PC Exchange) component of the Mac OS, you can read and write to PC disks without third-party software. If you use the Microsoft products on both platforms, the PC version should recognize the Mac-format files without any trouble.
As far as file transfer, start with a PC formatted removeable disk, which the Mac will recognize (once File Exchange is active). Dump your Mac files to this disk, stick the disk back into the PC, copy the files to your hard drive, and away you go!That is, of course, unless the Win ME version of Works doesn't understand Word98 files. But that couldn't be, could it? Hmmm... ;)
