Transfering files MS Works - MAC

I've been unable to read files in MS WOrks transfered to my new MAC.

I downloaded software, recomended by MAC, but that didn't work. Even though it claimed to transfer Works files. Sorry, don't remember name.


Can anyone recomend softare that'll do this. I have about 1000 files to trasnfer as well as exe files.

Tried Apple Works or iWork ?.

you won't be able to run exe files, unless u have latest Intel Mac with windows installed with paralells or bootcamp.
