I have old performa 6220 OS 7.6.1 and need
to transfer data to G4 Tower OS 9.2. How does one go about doing this. Thank You. Marshall

There are many ways.

1) Ethernet
You can connect the two machines via ethernet if the
performa has an ethernet card installed, then you can
enable appletalk on both of the machines and then
transfer the files over the network.

2) CDs
If you have an external CD writer for the performa then
you can write all your data to a CD and then put the CD
into the powermac G4, and copy it all to there.

3) Floppy
If your powermac G4 has an external floppy drive, then
you can copy small amounts of data onto the floppy from
the performa, and then copy them onto the power mac G4
using the external USB powered floppy disk drive.
