that is the question. Well it's not actually. I'm wanting to shrink the filesize of an eps to fit on a zip disk and when I try open it in photoshop, it says that the 'parser module cannot parse the file' Why is this?? and what can I do to get round it??
What APP made the eps you seek to shrink the filesize on? Do you even know if it's Raster or Vector? Or: Vector with embedded raster information? Maybe you can be more thorough (spend some TIME and THOUGHT in asking for FREE ADVICE) and you may be able to get some answers.
SORRY! I was in a rush, but i still need to know the answer. It was an eps created by QuarkXpress 4.0 (so neither raster or vector i guess, but correct me if i'm wrong) The document in question is a front cover of a book. I selected 'save page as eps' from the file menu and it was created. Then the file needed to be shrunk slightly as it wouldn't fit on a zipdisk with the rest of the project. I tried to open it in photoshop and the above situation presented itself to me. Any clue what
