I tried Wingate a while ago and had some problems (esp. with Outlook Express setup). Sygate (www.sygate.com) is much easier to setup both server & client. It costs a little more (is Wingate the one that was free for just one client?), but Sygate is faster, less demanding on the PC host, and soooo much easier to set up. However, I don't think MacOSs before 8.5(6?) will recognize dynamic IP addresses (issued by a DHCP server). Just turn that off function and set a static IP address for your Mac. The docs give suggested numbers. (This might help with Wingate too if it uses a built in DHCP server. I don't remember.)
