I am new to Mac computers, but my OS X Tiger has a system folder in the root of over 1.3 Gigabytes alone. This is too much for a CD. I do not know what you would use to burn a DVD, but there is a disk utility in the MAC for burning DVD images. I know for a fact in OS X 10.3 and 10.4, you can open finder, click on Applications in the sidebar, double click on the Utilities folder, double click on the Disk Utility. From there, use the drop down File menu to choose Open Image. Of course this assumes you have a DVD burner for your iBook, and you did not burn to a DVD to begin with. Without more info, I can't even search the MAC site or their forums. I got my Tiger install DVD in the mail. Did you burn the image to a DVD?

Unless you have a select or premium ADC account, downloading Tiger is strictly illegal - try buying it and freeing your concious of screwing a good company
