Reply: (edit)I have the orginal HP Deskwriter, purchased about 8-10 years ago. I think it's the 500. I have misplaced the installation software and I now need to install the printer to my new (Macintosh) computer. Where can I get the driver to do this?

Reply: (edit)I have a PowerComputing Powercenter 120. When I tried to update the OS to 8.5 I received the message that the hard disk drivers were not Apple drivers and the program would not install. How do I get Apple disk drivers? Will this fix the problem?

Reply: (edit)I have a portable HP DeskJet 340 printer with an adapter for my Powerbook G3-series (Mac). The printer does print, but not consistently. It seems as if the driver is not right for the OS 9? It will print with Appleworks, Quicken, etc. for one or two times and then after the next print request, the "printer can't be found" message appears.
