My friend has a Mac G4 Laptop. Both her and I are not familiar with this equipment or OS. Is there a simple way to perform system maintenance on this unit? Clean up of cookies, cache, temp files......

To delete the Browser cache, open Safari and select "Empty Cache.." in Safari Menu. To delete cookies, Open preferences, still in Safari, Goto Preferences and select "Show Coockies". This will show you all the cookies. Here you can choose "Remove All" to delete all coockies or select individual cookie. By default all the Temp files should be on your desktop.
