New to Apple...do you have to defrag like in windows...is there an Apple counterpart? Also...what files should be deleted regularly?

I haven't defragged a drive in about two years because I got tired of it not doing anything useful.

The more I use the Apple, the less I want to use my PC. The only problem is...I got used to the maintenace ritual for the PC....I was starting to enjoy cleaning it out and fixing the quirks.
