system files for boot on zip/cd?

CPU/Ram: G4/400MHz/ 256MB

i lost my system cd and want a bootable
media for my G4, sys 9.0.4

can i copy the finder, powerPcEnabler,...
from the system folder on a different
media and use that files for booting?

can i use zip100? (and what button to
press at startup)

can i make cd for this with adaptec toast
4.0.1.1?

My understanding of this is that you can for
instance, back up your system to CD. And if the
system 9 folder is on that CD, you can boot from it
by holding down the C button during boot,

Macsales.com has some 9.2 upgrade toOSX for
great price. Comes with both OS92 and OSX.
