I downloaded and attempted to install OS
9.2.1. It got about 3/4 of the way done
installing and then I got the following
message... Stop! The action could not
be completed. Please try again.
I tried 2 more times and got the same
message. On the 3rd time I got the
following message... Sorry, a system
error occurred, "installer engine" CHK
error.
What can I do to fix this problem? Any
suggestions much appreciated!

ISTR having the same problem with 9.2.x a couple of times.
See if booting from a CD and/or turning off Virtual Memory has any effect. Might also try booting w/o extensions.

Hello, i've had the same problem, found
out that it was faulty RAM that i had just
bought, removed new ram and tried
again, it installed first time, previously i
had almost given up, i'd tried it so many
times, (bought memory off
Cancom.co.uk, who openly admitted
having a dodgy batch of RAM, i had to buy
a whole new motherboard because of it,
still trying to get my money back,
b---tards.

It didn't make any difference at all with 9.2.2. I tried it with extensions off, VM off, various iterations of the two, and about a bazillion other things, and I finally said "screw it" and put Jaguar on there.
