My parents gave me thier old Mac. I am in the process of switching from WinME to Mac 9.22. I am somewhat new to Macs other than the odd game and photoshop. I downloaded some progs to my PC, now I'm wanting to move them to my mac. Besides using CD and 3 1/2 (3 1/2 is too small for the isp software), is there another way? I have a digital camera with a CF card (I was going to put files on that but my printer with the CF card reader's software needs to be used for 10.x at the least). I was hoping that the Mac computer would recognize the camera as another hd as the pc does but it doesn't and I don't know how and if you can do that on a Mac hehe as I'm not sure of the filing system on a Mac.
The large file is the access manager software for internet so I can't even email it to myself.
There is Access manager already on the mac but it is for a diff user and I couldn't get it to work (I have dsl) by changing it to my passwords.
PCtoMac

you need OS X for that sorta thing
but you can find a way around that too
(i reccomand Wolfenstine 3D (game))
if you open the prefrences folder
find and erase prefrences
relating to access manager
that will remove any personal setting
that have been locked on there(then your access manager will work)
otherwise get a flash drive and use that for transfer
(u do have usb ports right)(a Zip drive might work to)
its not when or how its what -
G3 - G4 -G5 -H1
I want a H1
