Comment:
After I worked in MAC OSX classic environment, I tried to switch to MAC OS X. But there is no folder that contains MAC OS X system folder in the Startup Disk control panel. I might have thrown the folder away by mistake. Do I need to install MAC OS X again? If there is any another way to recover this file, what should I do? Thank you for you help!

Startup from OS 9.1 or Higher CD and then open the Startup Disk Control Panel and see if it is there. If you have to reinstall. DO NOT ERASE just install or upgrade if possible.

Just after you've turned on or rebooted your computer, right when at the start up noise, press and hold option. Your Mac will find every bootable system folder available to it.
