Hi, I downloaded a few files, and then tried to install (expand) them with stuffit. only one program worked fine. when i tried to expand the other ones it didn't even start expanding. Why would some work and some not? The file that worked was a .sea file.and the ones that didn't work were also .sea files. what can I do to use these downloaded programs? thnx,, Finn

Sometimes the original file on the server is corrupted. If downloading it again doesn't work, that's likely the case.
If downloading it again *does* work, you might have just had a corrupted download the first time. Happens fairly often, though not all the time.

I've had that happen before. I found that I was using an older version of Expander. As soon as I downloaded the latest from Aladdin everything worked fine. Good luck.

Hey, thnx It works now. it was my own fault. all the MAC Files I downloaded had the "WinZip" Logo on it, and I thought I'd have to uncompress it in winzip. I then noticed that those already were .hqx Files. thnx again. Finn
