believe it or not, if it isn't worth the price of a new KB to you to fix this, you can remove your KB (carefully) from the PB and spray it liberally with a 50/50 hot water & white vinegar mix. Rinse in hot water and dry it with a hair dryer. Let it stand for a few days if you want to be sure all the moisture is gone. Re-install. If it doesnt work, it wont do any harm. Worse comes to worse you would have needed a new KB anyway, right?
