OS: Mac OS X 10.4
CPU/Ram: 1.8 Ghz 1.5 gb RAM
Comment:

when starting up my mac G5, a blinking apple logo/ question
mark appears and it takes ages to get to the normal booting
process...
could anyone help me?

After it fully starts up, go to the Startup PreferencePane and
select your startup disc and see if that helps.

Look in these folders and if it's in one, remove it;

Library>PreferencePanes

System>Library>PreferencePanes

User>Library>preferencePanes
