Startup Disk Problems !!!

Hello,... I try to install OS-X but I cannot select the Installation-CD in the Startup control panel...using Mac OS 9.2.2... It is also not possible to boot this CD with "C",... PS: I formated my HD as Extended OS like manual,...installed 9.2.2 but,... Does anybody know this problem, please let me know,... thanx a lot,....

There were a lot of bad OS X CD's sent out. Call Apple for a replacement. If you're using a Jaguar CD, make sure you're using disk 1.

Is it a retail OS X CD, or one that came with a specific Mac? If the latter, is it one that came with YOUR Mac model, or a different model? p
