i recently purchashed the harman/kardon soundsticks with sub. they sound great, except when i play sound through my music editing programs. whenever i try to play sound through them, they sound really distorted. however, whenever i listen through headphones, it sounds great. im running OSX on a 733 G4 most of the time, but my music programs are running in Classic. any help?

ISTR that audio on OS X still has a few bugs to be worked out. Any of the programs you use available in native OS X versions yet? If so, do they work better?
