I'm working on an Intel and Mac network - I have an HP laserjet 4M PS printer, that has an appletalk interface - and this is running through a Sonic MicroPrint/2 bridge - Does anyone know, if there is software to control this device. It appears that I'm not getting a response back from this printer - On a NT Server - I'm able to print to an Apple Laser using the appletalk protocol - but this HP, I can't even see it in the appletalk zone. I have changed the network environment - changed from public to private IP's .... I'm just trying to figure out the guts of the Sonic MicroPrint/2 box...

No software that I know of, but if you hook the Apple printer to the Sonic bridge, can it be seen? Some HP printers were rumoured to have issues with bridges like that; I've never suffered the problems myself, but I've heard of them.
