When updating to 10.4.10 the powerbook was taking a long time (no problems with my g5) with the install. Decided to restart using the power button (nothing else was responding). I now get a blue screen, the apple icon and the 'wheel' as if it was to start, but does not go any further. Any ideas of what is the problem? Many thanks.

This is normakl.. As long as the wheel is turning, just be patient, The Mac will re-start its self as well so give it some time. I assume you are referring to a G4 Powerbook??? If so, it will just take a little longer.
