Hi
I've never posted a message before because I've always eventually managed to find a solution but I'm well foxed with this one!
I bought the Sims 2 for my ibook G4 (at great expense to myself) which is great, apart from it always asks for the original disk DESPITE my having mounted a disk image (.cdr/.dmg) of the original disk using Disk Utility!
It's all well good because I have the disk, only it spins it throughout game play, which drains the battery and overheats the computer (and I don't want to have to take the disk if Im out and about).
Please help (anyone says get a better computer and I may have to track you down and smash you! ;)

Try macserialjunkie.com. Their forum is down at the moment, probably won't be up for a while, but they do have an extensive community dedicated to this sort of thing. And I am absolutely positive one of the many things on the forums I've seen has be no-cd IMG files for people to use so they don't need a disc in the drive for The Sims 2.
