sharing a win98 network printer

I have a 10baseT network with hub. Two pc's (win98) and a ibook os 8.6 is connected to it all sharing a single modem on one of the win 98 pc's. I have a hp 882 printer connected to one of the pc's via printer port lpt1. Is there any way of having the ibook share the printer on the win98 machine via tcp/ip connection?? Or any other means besides investing in some software?? Any comments would be appreciated. (And yes the ibook does access the modem on the win 98 machine without any intervention from me. It picked it up as soon as I plugged in the ethernet connection) Thanx in advance. Bill
hp sells a jet direct card, that allows the printer to connect to the hub. you will need the mac drivers for the hp. alternative option is pc/maclan from miramar GL
