Reply: (edit)sorry, only one HDD slot, and there is no internal support for SCSI only IDE, why would a mac have backwards compatibility?

Reply: (edit)If you really want two volumes of larger size: Why not install a BIGGER ide hard drive and partition it?

Reply: (edit)You can add a second HD to an iMac. It would need o be external. You'll need a case with power supply and either a SCSI to USB converter or SCSI to Firewire converter. -Gerald

Reply: (edit)Yes you can put a second hard drive In the i-mac A and B.By using a flat cable there is some space under the mother board but just! You have to cut some plastic and do it careful. The i-mac is using enhanced IDE and can run one HD from a flat cable with the cd drive and one from a flat cable with the internal HD
