I am trying to open the .sea file. I know that stuff it expander is supposed to open it but it does nothing. It looks like it is launching and then nothing happens. I am running OS 9.2. Can anyone suggest why this is happening? I dont think it is the file as I have a different file from a different client and the same thing happens.

It might not actually be a SEA. For instance, if I rename a random file "whatever.sea," that won't turn it into something Stuffit Expander can open up :)

What version of Expander are you using? Might be irrelevant, since SEAs should open themselves, but it's worth a shot...

If it is a "self-expanding archive," and
won't open when you double-click on the
icon, try to open it through Stuffit.

This might be completely irrelevant, but
try opening it from within stuffit
(ie. start stuffit, then use it's file menu)
instead of just dragging it to stuffit's
icon. I don't know why but this has often
worked for me with archives which
mysteriously wouldn't open normally.

Also, has this file been on a dos disk?
Stuffit's behaviour sounds just like when
I try to open a .sit, or .sea that has
somehow got separated from it's resource
fork - I'm sure .seas have these
(please someone correct me if I'm wrong)
and so aren't portable like .hqx or .bin if they have important stuff in the resource
forks.
