I have access older Macs, that I can't open up. I need to know what interface they use, SCSI or IDE. If they are IDE I can just plug their Hard Drive into another PC and clone the Data to a DVD or CD. They are both Power Macintosh; one is 5500/250 and 8500/120.

The 5500 is IDE, the 8500 is SCSI.

what golfer said, but the CD rom bus on the 5500 is gonna be SCSI, the HD bus is IDE. If I remember correctly. the 8500 is all SCSI.
