Screen Resolution Problem

Comment:
I recently suffered a bad crash on a desktop G3 with OWC 450MHz G4 ZIP upgrade, 6MB VRAM. Prior to the crash, I was using 800 X 600 screen resolution on a Sony Multiscan monitor, and the monitor control panel displayed a full range of reolution options. After the crash, 640 X 480 resolution is the only option offered by the monitor CP, though I can use higher resolutions using the SwitchRes shareware utility. This problem appears on two seperate installations of OS 9.2.2 on seperate disks, OS 10.2.2, and OS 9 installation CD. I have removed finder and monitor preferences, zapped the PRAM, and removed the CMOS backup battery, all with no change. Any advice?
