Comment:

As a Mac user I have friends (non-mac users) e-mail me .exe files that will not open.

What application or conversion tool will allow me to run them?

Thanks
Chris

Sometimes those .exe files are actually self-extracting compressed archives (ZIP or RAR). You might try dropping them on Stuffit Expander or another similar program.

Count your blessings.
A lot of email .exe attachments are PC viruses.
A lot of viruses send themselves out to everybody in the infected computers email address book.
Are your friends really sending these or is it just their name on the email return address.
I read most of my email on a PC, but I almost never open an attachment, especially an .exe
