I created some CD files using Roxio Easy Cd Creator version 6 on a pc. When I close the disks so that they can be read on any CD-Rom, I still can't open them on my mac. I get three separate files, on and .exe file, the other a .zl file and third is an .inf file.

These CDs have photos and files on them.

I tried to open them with Terminal and System Profiler and I couldn't. I also mistakenly set defaults for opening the files when I was searching for a way to open then and now I can't change the defaults.

Is there anything I can do to open them on my Macbook?

Will I need to get Roxio Toast and will those files work on a pc?

Thanks.

Sounds like the photos were saved in a way that when you
open the .exe file on the CD, it opens the photos up in a
pre-determined program to be view as a slide show. When
you load the disc in a PC do you see the actual photo files
on the disc or do you have to double click on the .exe file
to view the files?

To change what program opens a file, right click (or
control click) on the file and choose "open with" and select
the proper program to open that file with. If you want to
make a change system wide for opening a certain file
type, right click on the file and choose "Get Info". Towards
the bottom of the window that comes up there should be
a heading for "Open with". Click on the triangle to expand
the heading, choose the program you want to use from
now on and click on the "Change All" button.

To see the images on a pc, I have to go to my computer and click on the disk. Then I can see thumbnails of the images.

Thanks for the information on the "change all."
