No one can mess with your computer if it's off in a first place. The only way someone can get in is with a program call Timbuktu. unless you have this programm in your machine or you are connected to other machines in a network and they know your password, or you have downloaded software from someone over ICQ, you are just imagining things....

The remote monitoring without your knowledge is....highly unlikely. If you want to feed your paranoia let's not rule out keystroke recorder programs. They work invisibly in the background. It is LOCAL, yes, and not REMOTE, but CATH seems not to know all that much about it and may be open to that sugestion, and that of the single bullet theory of JFK's death, and countless other conspiracy crapola. You know: If you wear a tinfoil hat the government mind control rays can't get you. I'm sure the guy who 'eats beans' could tell us more about it.
