Hi, I'm buying a used g4 in perfect working condition from a friend, but he's keeping his Apple Studio 17" monitor. I'm told that if I buy a non-Apple monitor the display will look "wierd" but no one can say for sure what that means. Can I use a regular monitor with my Mac?

Most monitors will work fine with Macs, some will
need an adapter. Go to http://www.dealmac.com and
look for monitors. They search for the best prices for
Mac stuff.
