Registered Person? I am not following you. You can go to the internet setup assistant, or internet preferences (control panels) and probably change the internet user preferences. This may be what you seek to do, as these preferences are used a lot with 'user info' issues. Personally I would re-initialize the drive and re-install the OS. It's a better bet for anything you may want to do with the Powerbook.

typically, an OS doesn't need to be registered to a person. you usually have to send apple an email to register it. so to change that registration, you'd have to get a hold of the OS serial number (found with the computer CD, or box) and go through apple. to re-"personalize" a program, it's best just to re-install it.

You can re install the Mac OS without wiping the hard drive. Make sure that the correct options are selected during the OS install.
