Can't upgrade a Quadra 700 I just picked up without it flipping out. With a 80 MB HD and no additional VRAM it's happy as a clam. With VRAM Maxed it leaves "remnents" on the screen from dialog boxes. With no extra VRAM but a Quantum 1.2 GB HD (the same drive in all my other compacts and I've tried 2 different drives, partitioning, etc.) there are innumerable boot problems, bus errors, etc. Terminated correctly for virtually every other Mac I have. Is there something special about the Q700?
