I just got a used HP LaserJet 3200 All in One (Printer/
Scanner/Copier/Fax). It didn't come with the original
CD. I downloaded the printer driver from HP. It
seems to install with no problems. When I go to Print
Center, under USB, it says Driver not Found. Under
Apple System Profiler, I can see the printer in the USB
port. I can also see the PPD files for this printer in
the Library.
I also tried to install it as a CUPs driver following the
directions from OSX Unleashed, but it tells me to
enter the distinct connection info for the printer (eg.
/dev/tty.USA28X21P1.1) but I do not know how to
get this info for my USB port. It says check your
network panel for this info but it is not there... I am
stuck. Any ideas?
I would appreciate some expert help.

Hi Back to Mac.

The HP LaserJet 3200 is for Windows PCs.

The HP LaserJet 3200m is for Macs.

Perhaps you downloaded the correct Mac driver but the printer is for Windows PCs?

Take care,

Linda
