Iam writing a java application that has to run on Mac and windows and i guess i should use FileMaker as my database as it is compatible with both. But i want to bundle up the runtime of Filemaker with the application(just like access)and distribute it as an exe.I heard this feature is available only with FileMakerPro 5.0-Developer edition and that it is not public as yet.Is there any other way other than using FileMaker or can anyone let me know when this developer edition is going to be made public?Any help from your side will be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

If possible, you might want to try finding a developer's edition of filemaker 4. Many features were supported in version 4. If you can't use 4, I can't help.
