OS: os 9.2.2
CPU/Ram: 768
Comment:

i'm trying to install os x 10.3 on my g4 and
i keep getting this error log-
root: bootstrap_look_up(): unknown error
code
and the installation seems to hang.
does anyone know what the error code
mean?
and what do i do next?

could be how drive is partitioned for setup, also could be cd has dust/marks on it, check both and try again...:)
