I am having a problem printing to my laserjet 2300 in classic mode. This printer is connected via usb and can print in OS X fine. I can however print to shared printers over a network in classic but cannot see the usb printer. I have tried to setup the printer again and can only see the network printers. Any ideas?

Have you actually installed the printer in Classic?

Yes I have instaled the using the utility provided by HP and it provide the drivers for OS 9 and 10.
