Does anyone have any suggetions for error code #88 and error code 1 when printing from programs on OS 7.5.2 with and apple SW2400? I have reinstalled everything printer related, done full maintenance on the boxes and a host of other things, but it still does not work. I've downloaded new files. rebuilt the desktop, zapped the pram, checked for extension conflcits, reinitialized the printer etc., etc., etc. If you have any suggestions, it would be appreciated.

7.5.2 is a buggy sonuvabitch. It was when it shipped, and those updates were not the magic bullet that apple hoped them to be. 7.6 was pretty stable, and 8.1 or 8.6 were goodies too. Before committing to all this troubleshooting on 7.5.2, why not consider an update to something more recent (we ARE up to system X ya know) and more robust.
