Printing keeps stopping

Everytime I try to print the job stops! 1. Latest drivers for Epson Sylus Color are intalled. 2. It is the Default Printer in the Print Center Printer List. 3. When I click on it, the Stylus Color 740 panel opens. I click to Start Jobs. Opening Printer Connection starts and then the message Jobs Stopped appears. 4. The same happens when pulling down the Printers Menu to Start Jobs. The printer is plugged in directly via USB. How can I get it to print?
