Hi.
I'm having a problem here that's been driver me nuts for a couple of day and I hope someone will be able to help out.
The thing is, I have a G5 with OS 10.3.5 and I use applications in both OS X and Classic. Now the problem I have is that I cannot get my printer install to print in Classic when I'm using my classic applications. I've installed the PDD and I've tried to install it using the Desktop Printer Utility but with no luck. (the printer will not show in the chooser).
The printer is being installed via USB.
The weird thing is, I do have a G4 with 10.3.5 and 9.2.2 and all is fine there.
I'm not a Mac guru so I'm sure I'm just missing something but I just cannot put my finger on it.
Thanks for helping.

Update:
I've managed to install the printer as desktop printer (and I know now that it will not show in the chooser if it's USB desktop printer), but when I print files that have embedded images, I get Error -8133 and Error -27.
Thanks.

I also have been driven nuts for the last 9 months
or so, I have a G4 imac 10.2.8 and OS 9 classic
my printer won't print anything OS9, asked lots of
people no one seems to know, I can get the icon to
show in my chooser but when i click on it it doesn't
find a USB port (right section of chooser panel).
You got it to work on your G4?
Gave up and now PDF everything in 9 and print in
Acrobat reader OSX. Sorry i couldn't help you but
would be grateful if you find anything out....

Make sure that you have a Classic Application running. In the Chooser select your printer and then the USB option should appear in the Printer Port area. Worked for me!!
