Printer port problem

I recently had my Mac serviced for a booting
problem. Now, whenever I try to print, I get
the following message:

"The selected port is in use. Please quit the
application that is using the port and try to
print again."

I get this message even when the only
application running is the one I'm printing
from.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem, or
should I just bring it back to tech su
