pram problems

I tried to reset my pram,now when i power up my computer i just here a beeping sound and the power light flashes and my monitor is black,please help.

Which model Mac is it specifically? Try resetting the PMU and see if that helps or pressing the CUDA switch inside your tower. Apple's support pages have instructions on how to for each model.
A serious of beeps with no start-up could possibly be a RAM problem.
Have you tried re-zapping the PRAM?
