Powermac G4 Problem

Ok Here is my problem. I've got a customer that runs an application that runs only on OS9. So Powermac G4s are fastest machines that can run this OS. So they need these fixed even if it costs more then getting new machines cause the software licensing for the new version that runs on OS10 is considerable more expensive. Here is my problem. First the machine would constantly be 4 or 5 characters delay when typing at a average speed. First I ran OS9 install from within the current installation. That did not fix the issue. So i initialized the hard drive. Now I can't get the system to boot off of the OS9 CD. When the system turns on the Keyboard also does not show any signs of life. I've tried a new keyboard with no success. Now no matter what it boots to a blinking folder. If tried several diffrent CD drives with no success. The OS9 CD i am using does boot in other machines.
