Powerbook Pismo G3 won't boot

My pismo also won't boot. Here is the kicker...it won't boot off of a CD, it'll just stay at the apple icon on 10.2......when the cd is out, it powers on but stays on a blank gray screen.....when rebooting while holding down the option key to select a OS, it won't read any of the OS and would just keep spinning...i even tried resetting the triangle button on the back next to the modem port...I need help here
