Comment:

i am trying to install os9 on this powerbook800mhz/dvi. The disk
that came with the machine appears to be damaged.
It will boot up and get into the install and them stop
(problems reading installation tome). I've tried 3
other os9 boot disks (9.2 install disk,9.1 install disk
and 9.1 disk warrior) the all come up and say try
restarting without extensions and will go no farther.
Do Powerbooks require special extensions to boot
from CD? Could this be an OSx boot only machine?
