Hi, I have a PowerBook 180c, which I
recently got - it is running 7.5.3, and
OT/PPP 1.0, and has the TP/IP control
panel.

The problem is, that when I start
netscape, although it dials into my isp
and connects (and the apple in the upper
left corner flashes to indicate that it
indeed has connected), the browser for
some reason does not recognize that
there is a connection and will not view any
sites. The modem is an internal Global
Village 14.4. ICQ won't register either, and
I know the ISP is good, because it works
on my PB 140 (the computer the 180c is
intended to replace!)

thanks a lot if you can help me!

Max

thanks for the suggestion
it turned out that I hadn't entered DNS numbers, after I did, everything works fine (although a little slow with the 14.4 modem!)
