Hi,

My BT dialup drops several times when I first log on. During the first 10 minutes or so, it drops about 4 times, after which it stabilises. Is this BT's fault or is it something to do with my computer?

Whenever the internet line drops, it takes a while for my Powerbook's internal modem to fully disconnect and be ready to reconnect, even after I click 'Disconnect'. Sometimes it takes more than a minute. I noticed that it will fully disconnect if I click 'Disconnect' 3 times.

What can I do to make the modem fully disconnect and be ready to reconnect immediately?

Thanks,

Regards,

Modemfrust.

See if there are any firmware updates for that modem, but I suspect there won't be much you can do.
