This started last night. I try to go to www.gmail.com and it changes into the URL listed here. Here's all the info in the box that comes up:
Safari can’t open the page “https://www.google.com/ accounts/ServiceLogin?service=ma… il%2F%3Fui%3Dhtml%26zy%3Dl<mpl=yj_blanco<mplcac he=2”.
The error was: “POSIX error: Permission denied” (NSPOSIXErrorDomain:13)
Most of the internet works except gmail, or amazon when I try to log into things. I reset Safari and permissions in disk utility. I've done everything I can think of and I'm out of ideas and feeling really frustrated.
Also, about a week before this my computer stopped being able to connect wirelessly at home even though everything says the airport card is connected and working.
