I installed a yamaha cr3200e-vk on my B&W G3.
and the included software "NEROMAX".
Problem is i can't burn because i keep on getting a massage that says" please initialize disc" (a cdr,not cdrw !).
The guys who sold it know nothing about macs !!!

I may not be much help here as i do not know
which OS you are using. But for the sake of
argument let us say you are using OS 9.
Turn off the disc burner extension, restart and try it
again. I have never used Neromax but I did have
a similar bit of trouble back when I was using
Describe. Kind of and either/or situation.

Have you tried the WWW site for Nero's software yet? They probably have some how-to there, or in the included documentation...

Thsi is a pretty new drive. Even Yamaha does not
have info on it but I did find it in the UK. The only
two issues that are reported there are the disc
burner extensions and a compatibility problem if
you have installed Toast. Even if you delete Toast
there are 4 extentions still there that conflict with
Neromax. Other than these two issues I can find
no other answers for you.
