Hi,

I have been told that it was possible to read DVDs from my CD player on an ibook G3 OSX 10.2. Either through a firmare of some kind or Software Hack.

Any help on the Subject would be appreciated

I don't think there is a software fix for your hardware
issue... Perhaps it can be done.

Have you thought about getting a DVD drive for the
iBook???

I wanted to avoid this expense. I heard it would be some kind of virtual disk soft or something.

Any idea ?
